Good guidance should be available to a student in a small town on the same terms as a student in a big city. That belief is why Soch exists.

Soch means thought in Urdu. We are an academic support academy for IB and HND students, founded on the belief that deep thinking should be taught, not bought.
Every IB cohort has the same pattern. A prescribed TOK title lands, the Extended Essay supervisor is stretched across thirty students, and the Internal Assessments in six subjects all fall in the same term. The students with private tutors get through it. The others guess, panic, or copy something they do not understand.
HND students know the pattern too. Fifteen units, each with a brief full of command verbs and grading descriptors, and rarely anyone to explain what Merit actually asks for.
Soch was started by mentors who had sat on both sides of that table: as students who once needed the help, and as educators who watched capable people fall short for lack of it. We built the academy we wished had existed, one that treats guidance as something every serious student deserves.
We are not a content mill. We do not sell finished work. We teach people to think, research and write, and we stay beside them until they can do it alone.

We keep support affordable, we are honest about what we can do in the time available, and we never let the quality of guidance depend on how much a family can pay.
A growing network of mentors, a free library of resources, and scholarship-supported places, so that every year more students get the kind of guidance that used to be a privilege.
Good guidance should be available to a student in a small town on the same terms as a student in a big city. That belief is why Soch exists.
We help students learn, not outsource. If a request would cross an academic honesty line, we say so and offer the honest alternative.
Soch means thought. We would rather spend an hour helping a student understand a concept than five minutes handing over an answer.
Deadlines are stressful and students are people. We reply like humans, plan realistically and never make anyone feel behind.
Said plainly, with honest labels. Only the first of these exists today; the rest are the plan, in order.
One-to-one guidance for TOK, the Extended Essay, every IA, and all 30 HND Business and Computing units, delivered online across Pakistan and beyond.
Guides, templates and checklists from our mentors, published openly so a student who never contacts us still leaves better prepared.
Fully and partly funded mentorship for students who cannot afford it, funded by the academy and by people who believe in the idea.
Former students and educators mentoring the next cohort, so access grows with every year the academy runs.
Soch is run by its founding mentor team: subject specialists who still teach, still read drafts, and still answer the WhatsApp line themselves.
Profiles
Mentor and leadership profiles will be published here as each mentor agrees to be featured. We would rather show nothing than show invented faces. In the meantime, ask us who you would be working with before you start: we always tell you.
