Who we are

Soch Online Academy ("Soch", "we", "us") provides online academic support, mentorship and research guidance to IB and HND students. You can contact us about anything in this policy on WhatsApp at +92 327 1105242.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name, WhatsApp number or email address, and anything you include in a message or form.
• Study information you share so we can help: your program, subject, unit, assignment briefs, prescribed titles, drafts, feedback from your teachers and your deadlines.
• Session records: notes a mentor keeps about your task and progress, and scheduling details.
• Payment records: confirmation of payments made for services. We do not store card details; payments are handled through the method agreed with you at the time.
• Website data: this site is a static website and does not set tracking cookies or run advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and performance.

How we use it

• To reply to you and match you with a suitable mentor.
• To deliver sessions, research help and feedback on your drafts.
• To schedule, invoice and keep an accurate record of the support provided.
• To send you the newsletter, only if you asked for it. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any newsletter or messaging us.
• To improve our guidance and resources, using lessons learned in an anonymised form that never identifies you or your work.

Your documents

Briefs, drafts and coursework you share are used only to support you. We do not publish them, sell them, share them with other students, or submit them anywhere on your behalf. Mentors are bound by confidentiality, and we delete your documents on request.

Sharing

We share your information only with the mentor (or mentors) working with you, and with service providers we need to operate, such as messaging platforms, video call tools, form processors and our hosting provider. We never sell personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Messages sent through WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. Forms on this site either open a WhatsApp message that you send yourself, or post to a form service configured by us; in either case you will see which one is happening before you send.

Storage and security

We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and handle any follow-up questions. Documents are stored in access-controlled accounts and deleted when no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.

Your choices and rights

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Withdraw from the newsletter at any time.
• Ask us not to keep your documents once support has ended.

To exercise any of these, message us on WhatsApp. We will respond within a reasonable time and without charge.

Students under 18

Many IB students are under 18. We are happy to work with a parent or guardian involved in arranging support, and we will share progress with them at the student's request or where the student is a minor and the parent has arranged the service.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be mentioned to students we are actively working with.
