Need first
Places will go to students whose family circumstances would otherwise rule out any guidance at all, assessed simply and privately.

This is the part of the vision we care about most, and it is not open yet. Here is what we are building, how it will work, and how to be part of it when it launches.
Soch already prices its support to be reachable. But reachable is not the same as free, and for some families even a modest fee is out of the question. Those students are exactly the ones a good mentor would change the most for.
So the plan is simple: a number of fully and partly funded mentorship places each year, offered quietly to students who need them, delivered to the same standard as everything else we do.
We are telling you about it now, before it exists, because we would rather be honest about a plan than vague about a promise.
Places will go to students whose family circumstances would otherwise rule out any guidance at all, assessed simply and privately.
A scholarship place is not a lighter version of support. It is the same mentorship, the same feedback and the same care.
Paid for by a share of academy revenue and by people who choose to sponsor a student. Every sponsor will know exactly what their contribution funded.
Scholarship students will be invited, never required, to mentor future students once they have finished their own studies.
For students
If cost is the thing standing between you and support, tell us. We keep a private list and we will contact you first when funded places open. In the meantime, ask anyway: we will always tell you what we can do today.
For sponsors and mentors
Two ways to help. Sponsor a student's place once the program opens, and know exactly what your contribution funded. Or give your time: every mentor who joins Soch makes more funded places possible.
Scholarship places are the plan. Affordable, honest guidance is what exists today. Tell us what you are working on and what you can manage, and we will work something out.
